Our Story
Nice to meet you...
Hi, I’m Emily!
I have a gorgeous husband, two rambunctious sons, and a house full of fluff and love.
Cats have always been a part of my life. I grew up in a big, noisy, happy family surrounded by animals - and I’ve never outgrown the feeling of joy they bring. I truly believe every family deserves to experience the love and companionship of a cat.

My fascination with Ragdolls began many years ago. I admired them from afar - those blue eyes, that serene temperament, the luxurious fluff - but I hadn’t met one in real life until Max. Max belonged to my parents’ new neighbour and would often wander through their garden, stopping by for snuggles whenever I visited.

Max!
Max was my first introduction to the Ragdoll personality - affectionate, relaxed, and irresistibly charming.
I was smitten.
A few years later, during the early days of the COVID pandemic, we met another Ragdoll: Odie. He belonged to a family down the street who had just moved in, and although we don’t support letting cats roam, Odie was allowed outdoors. He quickly appointed us as his “other family.”
At first, he peeped shyly around the fence. Then he started visiting our front deck. Soon, he was making himself at home on our couch, curling up in the sun like he’d always lived with us. Our boys adored him. His gentle presence brought calm during a chaotic time, and our friendship with his owners blossomed because of him.

Odie!
Then, heartbreak. As is too often the case with roaming cats, Odie’s life ended far too soon. The grief we felt - even though he wasn’t ours - was overwhelming. His family kindly invited us to a small funeral so we could all say goodbye to the little cat who brought such comfort to our home.
The silence he left behind felt immense. We missed him. We missed the feeling of paws padding through the house and the soft weight of a cat curled at our feet.
That’s when I began looking for kittens of our own; not to replace Odie, but to bring back the comfort and joy he had introduced us to.
I contacted a few breeders hoping to connect with one that had kittens available around the time we wanted (we had much to do to prepare our home for kittens.) The search led me to Julie from Jipushi Ragdolls in Canberra. We quickly formed a friendship, her queen was due any day, and the timing lined up perfectly. It was meant to be.
A few months later, we welcomed brothers Sealy and Mochi into our hearts.

Our friendship with Julie continued over the next few years, with almost daily video calls so she could watch Sealy and Mochi grow. When it came time for their beautiful mum Poppy to retire,
there was really only one place she could go.
On International Cat Day in 2023, we welcomed Poppy into our home to enjoy her well-deserved retirement.

Poppy settled in instantly - it was like she’d always been part of our family. She adores our boys, happily poses for photos, joins in on bedtime snuggles, and starts every morning with a soft, slow cuddle before the day begins.
She is pure joy.
With three Ragdolls filling our home with love, calm, and connection, I found myself dreaming of sharing that feeling with others. I knew that if I could help other families experience even a little bit of this joy,
it would be something truly special.
That’s when I began the journey to become a registered breeder. It wasn’t a decision I made lightly; I took my time, researched, and leaned on other breeders experience and wisdom.
When the time felt right, I registered with GCCFV and officially began the next chapter.
That’s when Misty came into our lives — our first breeding queen.

Misty arrived in May 2025, and we’re giving her all the time, love, and gentle guidance she needs as she grows. Her future litters will be raised with the same care and heart that defines our home.
